Patches of native vegetation, or even paddock trees, play an important role in conservation efforts. In a cleared landscape these patches act as Stepping Stones for birds and animals to move across the landscape between habitat.  Native vegetation can also play an important role in land management providing many benefits including shelter for stock and for crops, erosion control, habitat for predators of pest species and water table management.

At Stepping Stones we are currently seeking properties for revegetation works. If you have a potential project please contact either myself (Lower Hunter) or Kirsten (Upper Hunter) to talk more.
